Please note that certain breathwork techniques may not be suitable for everyone, and some breathwork techniques may need to be adjusted to ensure that they are safe for you. If you have any of the following conditions, please let me know in advance of any session, so I can tailor it to your needs:
Pregnancy: please let me know of the stage of your pregnancy
Asthma: please ensure that an inhaler is available throughout the session
Severe Cardiovascular Diseases and/or Irregularities, Including Prior Heart Attack
Glaucoma
Uncontrolled High or Low Blood Pressure
Detached Retina
Bipolar Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia or another psychiatric condition
Epilepsy or history of seizures (of any kind)
PTSD / C-PTSD
Osteoporosis, Severe Bone and Joint Problems
Gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. hernia, ulcers)
Recent Hospitalization, Recent Injury or Surgery
History of Strokes
Vertigo
Family History of Aneurysms
Hypoglycemia and Diabetes
Prescription Blood Thinning/Anti-Clotting Medications Such as Coumadin
Actively using recreational drugs or medication that alters brain chemistry: painkillers, anti-depressants, anti-anxiety, stimulants, hallucinogens, etc.
